Raphael Tuck & Sons calendar for 1930 illustrated with clown and dog

Calendar

  • “Here We Are Again”
  • 165 x 368mm (6½ x 14½in)

Hanging wall calendar for 1930 with illustration of boy-clown and dog, signed AEJ, published by Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd.

The greeting calendar came into general use in the 1870s and 80s, initially as an extension of the novelty almanac, much favoured as give-aways by early advertisers, and later as a hanging wall decoration.
